Is this in the works at all? I just want the same thing i had for the 360 the rechargeable earpiece. I cannot stand the Wire attached to my controller.

Microsoft,

I think you owe a lot of us gamers an explanation as to why you have yet released a wireless mic for the Xbox One. I'm tired of viewing third party headsets and stating that their product is "wireless" when there is a wire connected to the controller. Last
time I checked, wireless meant "no wires". I'm pretty sure once you get on the ball and release a microphone, they would fly off the shelves before you could even send replacements. For the love of God, do not release a "headset". Most of us have surround
sound and soundbars and would like to continue to enjoy them. We need microphones just like the ones you released for Xbox 360.

Another question. Do you guys have something against bluetooth or do you not want to be labeled as a copycat and take Playstation's idea?

go get the wireless turtle beaches, the audio from someone using the wireless mic on the 360 was attrocious and sounded like someone killing a cat.

The "mic" you're referring to is the boom mic that plugs into the headset.

The mic I'm referring to is the chat system that allows one to talk to other players. Normally, that's supported by a wired mic cable that goes from the 360 controller to other headsets. On all other 360 headsets, a cable is required from the base of the
360 controller to the headset for chat. Even the wireless Astro A50 has a mic cable port to go to the 360 controller.

On the Tritton Warhead, that's all done wirelessly, same as the Microsoft Wireless Mic for 360 works. Tritton integrated the wireless mic into the headset base unit so that the headset can be completely wireless - no wired mic cable going to the controller.

It's the wired mic cable that the Tritton Warhead lacks that is the problem. There will be no way for the Warhead's base unit to sync its wireless mic with the Xbox One.

If all you want to do is use the Warhead as a wireless headset without a mic, it will be fine. If you want mic support, it won't.

It would be nice if my xbox brand wireless Mic would work on the xbox one but I doubt it...

They will work as headphones. They will not work as a headset. The wireless mic connection will not work with the Xbox One and there's no wired mic cable option on the Warhead.

Microsoft was fairly explicit that existing 360 peripherals would not work with Xbox One. At this time, the only thing mentioned so far is that a physical adapter is in the works to convert the new output port on the new controller to work with existing
wired mic devices.

Wireless mics won't work as the wireless protocols are different. The Tritton Warhead is wireless. It won't work with the Xbox One. It doesn't matter how much you spent.
