Xbox one wireless internet connection problem

Recently my xbox one has refused to connect to my wireless internet. It can connect to the router but will then say there is no connection. This has happened before but it would usually correct itself within an hour. This time it seems to be more permanent.
I have reset the router and tried reconnecting and sometimes it will say can't connect to Internet or it will say everything's good and says I'm connected to Xbox live but it's obvious that I am not and the Xbox will immediately say I am not connected BUT
will show me a list of friends that are "online" (I found out this is the list from the last time I was actually online and not accurate at all). I made sure that it is not a problem With my isp and I even manually put in all of the information such as my
IP address. I also checked to make sure that the connection isn't being blocked somehow. On a rare occasion I will get error code 0x80072EFD. I should also point out that the dashboard will become unresponsive at times and while I can move around, I can't
select anything. Finally I tried doing a complete reset of my Xbox in a final attempt to solve it. But no. Now I can't even play the Xbox because I need to be connected to the Internet to set it up. To me it sounds like a hardware/software problem, as I have
done everthing Else to try and fix it. But maybe I am wrong.

Why when i test my xbox live connection does it say its working, but it doesn't?

How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a wired connection, or a wireless (WiFi)? I had a console where a WiFi connection would give me occasional problems, so you would want to check that out.

Can't stream on windows 10 when xbox / pc are both wireless

I tried it for the first time the other day... it was laggy as hell on low. there was like 1.5 second delay. it was horrid. my internet connection for both my Pc and Xbox One are wireless. i just xited out of the streaming and re-established the connection again. fucking flawless on high. i was impressed. dont know what the initial problem was.

It's a genuine hardware issue.

Request a repair for your console or switch to the more preferable connection type for gaming. Yes, an Ethernet solution.

Connection is either wireless or wired. Wired connection problems means that your internet is just slow. Wireless may mean that you need a better wireless router- solution could be to get a new one or to move your xbox console to a room closer to router.
Or again internet is just slow. I had similar problems 2 years ago, but it was the Internet providers fault, I switched providers and haven't had a problems since.

i have the same problem with my xbox slim it says "to use a wireless internet connection connect an xbox 360 wireless networking adapter to your console"

Have you tried using the physical Ethernet connection? If it works without issue then it is a problem with the wireless. If you have the same connectivity problems then the wireless is not an issue. The issue could be with your Internet connection or the
Xbox itself.

OK I have connected it as follows (a little complicated but its the easiest my setup allows)

Internet----Router A ->))) (((<-Router B ---Xbox

Theres a wireless bridge between the routers.

One router connected to the internet the other is connected to the xbox (by wire)

This setup is working fine. As far as the xbox is concerned its connnected by wire so obviously there is a problem with the xbox wireless network card
