    Hi,

    Just thought I'd share a neat trick which is amazing!

    Have my sky box on my hdmi pass through so have to use separate input for my mx3 android tv box. However using the wireless display app have managed to cast my kodi programme to my Xbox with my tv snapped so I can browse and add new repo's all on my Xbox.

    Yet another amazing feature making my Xbox one thepuppies nuts.

    i am trying to download kodi 17.6. in the store they only have kodi 18. how can i get kodi 17.6 that will work on my xbox one?

    I would like to see kodi 14 in xbox one . kodi is the new name of the best media center application xbmc

    It will be great and many people will agree with me that if kodi comes to xbox one then it will be all in one for everything

    Are you sure he did not put the xbox into developer mode and added kodi ?.

    Yes the xbox one's are popular for streaming apps on kodi

    Xbox shutting down while networked

    Uninstalled Kodi. Re-enabled wifi on the Xbox. Works fine.

    Tried Plex. Did not like how it's attached to having an account. Would like the server to be a bit more standalone. May try messing with Kodi again. Still no idea how the Xbox is receiving shutdown commands.

    xbox/windows media player cannot read from disk either - xbox support staff said so - i wonder if anyone in the community has a work around

    its not a kodi issue - its an operating system one i believe

    even file management apps cannot display files on disks

    Kodi on Xbox one.

    There is a way to use Kodi on your XBox One, but you con't download it as an app. I don't see why XBox live would ban you for having Kodi, since it isn't an illegal download or streaming site, but I don't work for XBox, Microsoft, Kodi, or any other related
    company/organization.

    XBMC used to be connected to XBox, but as I understand it, they are no longer affiliated.

    Thanks farscape, I believe Xbox one s can output dts through optical (my setup is onkyo receiver with optical cable) and it works fine with blue ray app for DVDs with DTS encoding.

    But for CDs we can't use that app, so iam using groove. And my receiver outputs white noise with the dts encoded CDs.

    I am suspecting missing codecs..but not sure.

    On another note, does anyone know how to play CDs with the latest kody on Xbox?. I have downloaded but can't figure out how to play the disc on xbox.. (kody recognizes the disc drive on xbox?)
