you have to launch the wireless display app on the X1

then go into your phone settings and turn on mirroring

then it'll show you a list of devices to connect too

    choose the xbox

connecting xbox one controller to iphone

    Hello Ace,

We understand that you are attempting to sync your Xbox One controller to an IOS device, and that the controller is not recognized.

This would be due to the supported devices being the following:

    Galaxy S7

    Galaxy S7 edge

    Galaxy Note5

    Galaxy S6 edge+

    Galaxy S6

    Galaxy S6 edge

We hope this information was helpful and wish you the best!

White spot in center of screen when running Wireless Dusplay app on Xbox One

I appreciate you for sending us the photo privately. That helps me further isolate the issue.

The white dot you’re seeing on your screen when casting from your Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 to your Xbox One using the Wireless Display app could be a cursor or pointer from the tablet that’s being mirrored on the TV. This can happen if the tablet is interpreting the TV as an external display and showing a mouse pointer.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    Check for updates again:

Make sure that your Xbox One, the Wireless Display app, and your Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 are all up to date.

Disable mouse pointer on your tablet: Some tablets have an option to disable the mouse pointer when connected to an external display. You can check this in the settings of your tablet.

    Xbox one

So the answer is yes. The term "Wireless display" is sort of a misnomer. The display isn't actually wireless, it's more like Remote Desktop, where you're controlling the PC on a different device without the display DIRECTLY (where the wireless part comes
    in) connected to the device.

So this article loosely outlines how it works. You'll need the Wireless Display app installed on the PC and the
Xbox One, and they'll need to be connected to the same local network. You'll connect the two in the app, and then control the PC via the app. A mouse and keyboard hooked up to the Xbox One are the best methods for controlling that, but you could put your
PC in Big Picture mode if you want to control it more easily that way.

It's more like reverse streaming via the Xbox App, but using the Wireless Display app, so it won't be a wireless display, per se, but it will need to be wired to your Xbox.

Let us know if you have any problems or questions in trying to get that set up, and we'll be happy to help!

    Installing apps

Hello, this is not possible currently, however if you want to play your PC games on your Xbox you can use the Wireless Display app on Xbox to stream your PC games on Xbox.

    I hope this helps,
I just want to clarify how to use the app.

"Once the app is open on your Xbox One, press Windows key + P to bring up the
“Project” menu on your PC. Click the “Connect to a wireless display” link. Your Xbox One should appear as one of the options. Click on it, and your screen will cast to the display your Xbox One is connected to." -BGR

I hope this helps with your issue.
