    Xbox One Wireless disconnects after power off.


    Every time my Xbox One goes to sleep due to inactivity it won't reconnect to wireless. It comes back up and complains that I need to test the network. I tell it to test the network connection, and it warns that there is something wrong with the wireless
    and I should restart wireless. As soon as I pick "Restart wireless" it sounds like the entire xbox locks up(There is a single constant tone that keeps going for about 5 seconds), and then the xbox one reboots, and wireless works fine. It will then work fine
    until the xbox one gets powered off again. Any ideas?

    Hello!

    I would recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps, and see if it works after each one.

    1. Hard Reset the Xbox

    2. Reboot all of your Networking Equipment

    3. Power off & Disconnect your Xbox from power for 30 seconds, plug back in & power back on

    4. Change the Wireless password to a new one & try it

    I did disconnect all the other devices when no one was home and it was still disconnecting. IE shutting off the wireless capabilities of the devices, and powering them down.

    my xbox one is a wireless connection. no nothing else seems to get disconnected like my xbox but doesn't the xbox require a stronger signal and is turned off and started up more often than the other devices.

    What could be the hardware issue if there was one? also when i power off the console it always seems to connect right after that so don't you think if it does that its not hardware?
