    Xbox One Wireless Controller right bumper


    My xbox one controller was working fine with all my games for the longest time up until all of a sudden the right bumper decided to just stop working. When I go into the joy.cpl I can't press the right bumper because the number 6 stays dim, but if I press
    anything else on the controller the number 6 lights up as if it's being held down constantly. I tried uninstalling the device and reinstalling it, but it does not help.

    Xbox One controller, right bumper malfunction

    I own the Spartan Locke Xbox One controller. Recently while playing Gears of War 4, I attempted an active reload and heard a small click/crack sound while depressing the right bumper. Since then, every time I press the right bumper it is unresponsive and
    the right trigger seems to quarter depress. Is there a way to fix this or am I just out a controller?

    Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

    Go to System Settings and choose storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

    Go to System Settings and choose storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Could you try reinstall the system software as follows:

    Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the dashboard is fully loaded.

    Go to System Settings and choose storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.
