  1. Xbox ONE wireless controller on windows 10 issues ...please advise

I have a couple of questions. First of all, I just purchased the wireless controller adaptor and was able to sync my Xbox one controller with no problem. The problem I'm having is that many games seem to flake out when using it. As if a thumbstick is being
held down and it will automatically scroll through items on a menu...like in an inventory screen. When I disconnect the controller and use the wired 360 controller in the same game I do not get these issues. My second question is...does the Xbox one controller
show up somewhere in the device manager on windows 10? the only thing I seen when digging in there is the wireless adaptor. How would I be able to update the drivers for it or even know what version I have? When the 360 controller is plugged in, it shows
up in device manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated. At this point it seems the wireless adaptor is a complete waste for me. My system is an Alienware R3, i7, 16gb ram, GTX980M (8gb), Win 10 Pro

    :)

  3. Problem with my controler Xbox one Bluetooth

    Hello Cerfvoyage4344,

If you haven't already done so, may I suggest following up with "Connect and troubleshoot Bluetooth on your
    Xbox One Wireless Controller
" . If you continue to have a problem connecting via Bluetooth, I would be curios if the controller works with your PC using the USB port, "How
to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC
" . Let us know if this helps.

Xbox ONE wireless controller on windows 10 issues ...please advise

I believe I have a similar issue: on many occasions when I turn on my controller (which is paired with the wireless adapter), the moment I press a button, the 6 analog axes (2 sticks and triggers) get "stuck", with the triggers at 0% and the x and y axes
on both sticks at 100% (down-right). All the buttons still work at this point, as confirmed in the USB game controllers - properties window (picture below), but the axes do not update. If this happens in a game, I'll get the same continuous menu scrolling
like you described, or having my character walk in circles. It seems random at this point whether or not the controller will work when I turn it on.

    Hi,

have you tried to calibrate your controller?

    Go to:

Printers and devices --> Wireless Adapter --> Right click and select controllers properties

In a new window there will be list of connected controllers and each can be calibrated.

    My controller works perfect.

I don't know if makes any difference, but I have never used it with console.

After purchase i have used it only with my PC.

Next possibility is to update controller's firmware.

Install "Xbox accessories" application from MS store.

Connect controller (never mind if you use USB or wireless adapter, i have updated two controllers connected by adapter), open application and there will be the only one option - update or nothing if you already have latest firmware.

In Device Manager select the Adapter, then go to View and View Devices by Connection. If a controller is paired you will find a device tree underneath.

The accessory app can enumerate the controller and update it as necessary.

Try the XInput based games, DirectInput games are known to have issues with the Dual Trigger support for the Xbox One controllers.

Xbox ONE wireless controller on windows 10 issues ...please advise

Already had tried all those steps, on multiple computers, with no results. I went back to the store and got it exchanged, new one works perfectly, so I'm thinking it was a problem with the controller itself.

All xbox accessories have issues when you plug them into a USB 3.0 indicated in blue plug-in not gray.
