Xbox One Wireless Controller not detected on Unity Games

Xbox One Wireless Controllers are not detected anymore
on Unity Games since Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

If we turn it off, then on, after the game is launched it works.

Xbox one Controller not being picked up by an app or game.

Hello,

I am having some problems with using my Xbox one controller on windows 10 in both wired and wireless connections. After the anniversary edition update, my controller was not being detected by any games. Its listed in the device manager network adapters section
properly (and under the xbox peripherals section if I connect it with a wire), however no game seems to detect a controller being detected. The Xbox accessories app itself does not detect my controller.

Please help.

Xbox One Controller Disconnects

I bought my Xbox one about 3 weeks ago. It is the Unity bundle. Wireless Controller keeps randomly disconnecting.

Situation:

• Controller flashes white Xbox button
• Controller randomly disconnects (dashboard and games)
• Sometimes it auto re-connects (may take 5seconds to 2 minutes to re-connect)
• Sometimes as frequent as every 20 seconds up to every 5-10 minutes (varies)
• Sometimes I have to press on the Xbox white button to reconnect
• Sometimes when controller re-connects I get no input from controller (have to reboot Xbox One)
  

Hardware Overview:

• Xbox One (Unity Bundle)
• One Controller (Use wireless)
• Asus RT-N66U Wireless Router
• I do not have a kinect

This is what I have tried so far:

• Replaced entire Xbox One system with brand new one
• Replaced batteries with Duracell Quantum
• Turned off 5Ghz Band for Wireless Router
• Sniffed Wireless signals for overlap and collision (non-found)
• Restarted Xbox One
• Updated controller firmware to latest version
• Completely powered off Xbox one including taking out power cord, network cord, and batteries from controller
  
• Ensured Xbox one dashboard is at latest version
• Attempted different Xbox one controller
• Re-sync'd Xbox One controller multiple times

Hey GhostPursuitVR! Is your machine fully up to date? That has fixes a lot of issues with controllers we have seen. Double check, post back and let me know!

 

Same thing. Just finished the update yesterday and now neither of the joysticks work in Unity.

 

@Mister Cizl Yes machine fully up to date, latest W10 updates installed.

Xbox One controllers are not working on ALL Unity games since W10AU.

 

(and of course Xbox One Controller firmware and software up to date too)

 

Microsoft where are you? ..............
