    Xbox One Wireless Controller not connecting to console?


    So my Nephew has an OG Xbox One and yesterday his controller all of a sudden lost connection to his Xbox One console, I've tried using the connect buttons on the top of the controller and side of the Xbox but it does not seem to be working. When I press
    the connect button on the console it does not even flash which is strange. I've tried connecting the controller to the console via USB but even that does not work, I know what your thinking, the controller must be broke but I took the controller to my home
    and tried to connect it to my Xbox One X and it worked fine?? I took my controller to his home and tried to connect to the console and mine wouldn't even connect, but with a USB cable it would. So I'm thinking the console must be the problem here, but I would
    like some more opinions. Thanks

    The

    When you say "I tried to connect the control through the USB cable for 10 minutes on the console", does that mean you were able to perform the steps outlined in "Connect
    a wireless Xbox One controller to your console    " ? If so, you may need to follow up with "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect"
