    Xbox One Wireless Controller Issue


    The right joystick on my Xbox One wireless controllers will not work. When the first two quit working, I thought they were just worn out because I've had them a long time and they've seen a lot of play. However, I just got a new controller two days ago,
    and yesterday afternoon the right joystick quit working. With three controllers all exhibiting an identical problem, I think it is a technical issue, not a wear and tear issue. I worked through the troubleshooting instructions on the Xbox website to no avail.
    When I looked at "Default" for mapping the buttons, it didn't give me an option to "Restore to Default" like the instructions said. It referred to a "Slot 1". I have no idea what that is and didn't want to create more problems.

    Any suggestions?

    Is it possible to use the "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10" on an XBOX One to Connect Wireless Controllers?

    You probably mean the right thing, but the Xbox One does not use Bluetooth to connect controllers wirelessly, but a Xbox specific wireless communication protocol.

    Since the console has this wireless protocol built into the special wireless module already, the Xbox One doesn't support the USB wireless connector.
