Xbox One Wireless controller disconnection

I've been having a problem with my controllers, when a controller is connected wirelessly they randomly turn off. It happens anywhere from 15 seconds to 10 minutes after turning then on and I've tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and the only thing
that works is using a usb cable. The controllers do however work on other consoles without any problems.

I would recommend checking out the "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" page,

support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-disconnects. It lists a number of issues that could be causing the disconnection and solutions.

If that doesn't work make sure your controllers are updated otherwise test them on another console GameStop usually will test them for you, that way you can figure out if you need replacement controllers or a console repair.

 

A bunch of threads all with the same issues. We get bs answers that are basically treating us like idiots. Kind of odd that a lot of people are having this problem at the same time. My cousins xb1 is like 20ft to my right and he is having issues with his
controllers as well. Must be us idiot consumers. What a joke.
