    Xbox One wireless connectivity dropping.

    Hey all,

Been having an issue since I got my xbox one back in september, I can't hold an internet connection for more than 10 minutes on a strong signal (Super hub 2 120/12mb connection) So far I have tried to manually enter an IP into the xbox settings which hasn't
been successful.. I have disabled the fast boot option for the console too and have port forwarded on my router.

However using a wired connection fixes the connectivity issue, but alas, wired can't solve the issue as a whole as It's not a long term practical solution. Really need to be connected wirelessly. I didn't have any issues at all with my xbox 360 connection on
    the same router.

    Cheers, Harry

    :)

  2. Dropped my xbox one

By dropping your Xbox One, you may have knocked something loose internally. Probably the sync button and/or the component that provides wireless connectivity to devices was affected.

You can connect your controller to the console with a Micro-USB cable. It might stay connected to the console
wirelessly once you unplug the USB cable.

I'm not exactly sure if that happens by how the support article is worded, but it's worth a try.

    Xbox One wireless connectivity dropping.

I had this problem when trying to play Destiny. I'm also a super hub 2 user and in the end I had to drop my wireless frequency, I never had a problem after that.

Hello - I am not very technical, but I had this bother last year. Finally, I got the solution which was to change the channel on your routers settings from auto, to channel 8 or 11 (or any other channel that works for you - was trial and error for me). Totally
solved my issue. Like you, it was fine on a wired connection, but not wireless. Hope this helps. Xbox One wireless connectivity dropping. :)

Does the newer controller (with Bluetooth support) still be able to use the wireless receiver?

Yes, the wireless adapter works and is probably the preferred way to use the controller. Xbox One controllers connected to windows 10 PC's via Bluetooth cause a noticeable performance drop in games. Connect with a wire or the wireless adapter and the performance
hit is not present. Funny thing is no other Bluetooth controller causes a performance drop in games. It is something specific to the Xbox One controller.

    xbox one x connection

I am having the same issue where my wired connection drops after 2 or 3 seconds. When I go to setup my wireless connection it says I have a wired connection. Oddly I was able to download updates with no problems, but cannot play games as xbox live drops
every time the connection drops. I suspect that it is a software/driver issue as I have no problems with the xbox one.
