Xbox one wireless adapter not syncing with wireless controller when it was before. Windows 10

I'm really getting frustrated this adapter. I have two of them mind you as I recently purchased and Oculus Rift, but this issue has been bothering me for long before. I installed the wireless adapter and it syncs right up to the controller and it worked
flawlessly with all my games. A few months later this is what starts to happen.

When starting windows 10, the controller will sync to the adapter and seem to work. But if the controller every cuts off or goes idle, it will not be able to reconnect to the adapter unless I restart the computer again. I'll hit the sync button on the adapter
and on the controller. They will sync, and then in no longer then 10 seconds the controller will will just turn off.

I've tried rolling back drivers, uninstalling, reinstalling. I've tried both adapters, several controllers that have no trouble syncing with my Xbox one S so this is obviously and issue with the adapter. I even did a clean install of windows a few weeks
back, and the adapter seemed to work fine, only for the issue to start again a few days ago. It's not a line of sight issue as my USB ports are on the top of the case of my desktop which sets on top of a desk not more then a foot and a half from where the
controller is used.

Any help would be appreciated.

Xbox Wireless Adapter wont sync after reboot or long duration without sync with gamepad

I have the latest windows 10 64bit ,. and just reset and updated to latest patch, the problem with Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows on windows anniversary update has resurface on the latest creator update and those after it.

Problems = after reboot pc, or a long duration say 24 hours of no playing or syncing my xbox one controller, it will not sync again, even i press the button to resync.

Only temp solutions = plug in usb cable to play or unplug the Xbox Wireless Adapter and replug it in, which instantly sync the pad back.

Im already on latest Xbox Wireless Adapter drivers and latest windows 10 patch. please help!!
