    xbox one wireless adapter for windows 10


    so just over 2 months ago I purchased an xbox one controller wireless adapter for windows 10 so I can play controller on my pc and it has been working since I got it and yesterday randomly it just completely stopped working on all of my games but it is
    connected to the pc and works in the settings bar and everything just not in games, has anyone else had this problem/know how to fix it?

    Yes, I am on windows 10 and using the original model of the Xbox One Windows 10 wireless adapter (the fat one).

    Yes, I have done all these steps with the wireless adapter as well, save for swapping it out for another one, which I don't have.

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums, I'd be happy to answer that.

    The Xbox One Wireless controller with Bluetooth can be connected to a Windows 10 PC with a USB cable, Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, so yes, it can be connected via the adapter. The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is not
    compatible with an Xbox 360 controller and will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. I'll provide the support articles with this information:
