    Xbox One Wireless Adapter breaks Mouse


    Here is a good one.

    I have the Xbox One adapter plugged in so I can use my controller on my PC. However, it seems when the controller puts itself to sleep, it breaks my mouse.

    The mouse buttons stop working, and moving the mouse causes the system speaker to beep repeatedly. Trying a reboot hangs on restart, and the only fix is a hard boot of the system. I like being able to use my controller, but not if I have to hard boot my system
    afterwards.

    Win10 machine, all updated.

    I have a really strange Problem with my PC / Xbox Elite Controller. Im using the Wireless Adapter and anything works fine, until i Turn the Controller off or disconect the Adapter. If that happens my Mouse breaks somehow. If i move my mouse every move gives
    an strange beep sound and clicking doesnt work anymore.

    If i disconect my Mouse (Razer Naga) and Plug it in again it doesnt connect it. If i use a cable insted of the adapter the same happens too. I can use my Keyboard to shut my PC down but it wont turn off completly until i cut the Power off.

    I have no Idea why that happens. It begun a week ago and before that anything worked fine (same Mouse/Controller/Adapter).

    Can someone help me?

    I have the same problem. The controller causes the crash when it gets turned off. The mouse beeps every time it moves and can't lick anything. One must hard reboot to start again, as simply restarting the computer fails to shut down.

    This bug seems to have appeared after the March 1 KB3140743 and KB3139907 updates for Windows 10 Ver 1511.

    The only temporary solution is to uninstall the KB3140743 update for Windows.

    The KBD and Mouse will now work Natively wired or wireless

    Previously you needed an adapter.

    Games that use KBD and Mouse are Developer specific

    When you say wireless receiver, do you mean the mouses own wireless receiver or the Xbox One wireless receiver? The mouse is not compatible with the Xbox One Wireless receiver, you have to use the receiver that came with your mouse.

    Is it possible that maybe a fuction can be to cast your Xbox to the Xbox Console Companion application on Windows and be able to use mouse and keyboard.

    I am 99% sure that is not possible. However Fortnite is Mouse and Keyboard compatible on Xbox One so all you need to do is plug a mouse and keyboard into your Xbox One and you are good to go! I have never experienced an issue where using a wireless mouse and
    keyboard VIA USB adapter that one or the other ends up controlling the other so I'm not sure how that is happening, is your TV and couch 100 yards away or something how far we talking? There is the Razer Turret which is wireless and would be good for your
    setup. My recommendations would be go wireless or move your console somewhere you can plug in a Mouse and KB.
