    Xbox One Wired PC Controller stops working after a few seconds


    Just bought a new controller. Plugged it in and opened up Rocket League. Started moving around through the menu's and WOW it worked! Nope. Nevermind. It stopped. Crap. I unplug it and plug it back in. Hey it works again! *3 seconds later* Broken. Can not
    get it to work no matter what I do.

    I went and updated all my drivers. Still doesn't work. I am using Windows 10 Home edition

    Network Quality Problems + Much More

    I get Constant Network Quality Problems and the stream to xbox constantly lags/Pixelate/or just crashes. I have everything wired to an either net network with gigabit transfer speeds yet the xbox app can't seem to hold a connection worth a dime. also when
    crashes occur the app freezes my pc for about 30 seconds and causes my monitors to go black. This app has so many connection problems i wan't to burn it. also buttons will stop working for no reason and i'll click on one thing and it thinks i'm clicking on
    another. the controller wired connection will stop working no error message just stops working and my player just moves on it's own.

    Controller/Console problem?

    i have been having the same problem wired or wireless controller both will drop connection just randomly started doing this a few weeks ago some days it works fine some days its a struggle. wireless just doesn't work period, wired controller sometimes will
    quit for a few second then start working but it does it repeatedly. very annoying not sure why after 3 years it just starts this

    Please respond. I am very frustrated. Been looking forward to getting this controller for about a month now and it doesn't even work. I noticed it does in fact work for some games (Shovel Knight and Geometry Dash) but I only bought it for Rocket League.
    (The one it doesn't work for. Also Minecraft doesn't seem to detect it at all)

    I will be happy to provide more information about my situation. Ask me anything. I really really want this issue fixed.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Thank you so much for the detailed information. Since this is happening with multiple controllers the issue can be with the console itself. We may need to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Just did this and after about 25 minutes of playing it hasn't happened again. Even if it isn't fully fixed (haven't played long enough to be fully sure) it's definitely improved dramatically. Thank you!

    Unable to update controller

    I would stop trying to update it. I had the same issue and got it to start working by using another USB cable I got from turtle beach and it stopped downloading after a few seconds and now the controller is bricked, broke and useless. Someone really messed
    up and should fired for this one.
