Xbox One wired Controller doesn't work. Only with GOW

As title says. My Xbox One wired Controller works great with all games I have, except for Gears of War.

Any suggestion?

Xbox 360 controller and PC

So the 360 controller doesn't work with the PC unless you have a specfic wired controller? The wireless with the cord doesn't work?

My XBox turns on, but the rf receiver lights don't turn on.

It doesn't do anything. The lights are all out, but the xbox powers up and works normally with a wired controller only. I'll see if they can help me.

I was having this issue momenterally. What worked for me was opening the xbox app on windows without gears already open. Make sure you have functionality of the interface with your controller, you can only scroll with it I think but make sure it's doing
that then open Gears and it should work. Youll know it will because all your buttons on screen display in controller format rather than keyboard.

with PC works, only with controller not wired connected to xbox, mic doesn't work,

is possible that with anot wired connection mic is excluded ?

It doesn't really matter if the PC/Laptop has Bluetooth or not though. The user is trying to get the controller to work with a wire, which worked before, and is the same wire I'm using. My PC doesn't have Bluetooth.

I already stated earlier that the Play and charge for the Xbox One also sends data, and it can turn a wireless controller into a wired controller. Only the 360 play and charge is just a charger.

Is it a wired controller?

For 360 controllers to work on PC without any additional hardware, they must be wired. The 360 play and charge for wireless controllers
won't turn a wireless controller into a wired one. The reason is simply because the play and charge can not send data, it only provides power.

That would be almost impossible for these few reasons:

1: The wireless format on the 360 and Xbox One are different (Xbox One uses blutooth 360 doesn't)

2: The 360 controller can be plugged in using a USB cable, but that just charges it, it doesn't send the data through the wire.

The only way that we could use 360 controllers on the Xbox One would be a hardware redesign or a system update which would only allow the wired 360 controller (not wireless 360 plugged in, I mean the purely wired 360 controller)
