    Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety - You can join multiplayer games (Not switching to allow)


    I've recently purchased Forza Horizon 4 for PC and I cant seem to get online, after a bit of reading around someone on another website said check your privacy & online settings are on allow on the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab are all checked except
    ONE is on block and its the 'You can join multiplayer games'

    When I Allow it and save the settings it reverts back to Block again.

    Some people said you need an xbox one to change the settings.. I don't have an xbox one.

    I do have an adult account and have never been apart of any sort of family account.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Have you tried checking https://www.xbox.com/en-US/ then settings after that go to Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety, then Allow joining multiplayer games. If you still can't access the privacy and online safety, I suggest using another Browser.

    1. Go to https://account.xbox.com/Settings?activetab=main:privilegetab

      This is the tab for "Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety".
    2. Ensure that "You can join multiplayer games" is set to "Allow".

      This setting allows to "play games with others in the Xbox Live online community. This does not enable communication."
    3. Press "Submit".
    4. Restart your game.

    This may be redundant to ask, but have you Selected Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab to 'Allow' playing Multiplayer matches? You'll be looking for something similar to

    this     within your account settings.

    To do this on Xbox:

    Go to settings --> Online Safety & family --> Privacy & Online Safety --> Xbox Live Privacy --> View details & customize --> Communication & multiplayer --> Set "You can join multiplayer games" to "Allow."

    You can manage the privacy settings for the child accounts connected to your account on the
    Privacy & Online Safety page for your account; under "Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety", are those accounts allowed to join and play multiplayer games?
