Xbox one will now stop reading my discs unless I power cycle every other disc change.

It started today when I ejected Titanfall, the system ejected the disk and then sucked it back in. So I hit eject again and put in Forza and it told me there was an error reading the disk. So I ejected and tried again, same error. Multiple tries with multiple
disk to no avail. Finally I unplug the console and reboot and problem solved, or so I thought cause later on in the night it repeated the same cycle. Anyone else had this issue?

Playing Offline

I have an Xbox One S and I recently just moved. I do not have internet in my apartment yet and just bought Assassins Creed Odyssey. Is there any way to play this game without internet? I've tried changing my status to offline, power cycling my xbox and then downloading the disc that I own. Every time it shows at 0.0% in the queue then disappears after a few seconds.

 

My Xbox 360 won't read some discs. Help?

Hey I'm having trouble with my darksider 2. My Xbox 360 reads all the other disc but just stopped reading this one for awhile now idk why, but I really wanna play darksider 2 again. Any idea on what to do. It keeps saying open tray.

 

seems alot have this issue are you part of the beta program by any chance?if so there working on a fix

 

I have the same problem as well. I have to power cycle everytime I want to switch games. Also sometimes when I eject disc's they get sucked right back in. I hope there is an update here soon to get this fixed

 

This is a common problem within the Update Preview, so if you're in that then you will need to perform the workarounds (power cycles, ejecting/inserting discs extra times) until the problem is patched properly with another update. The team delivering the
updates knows about the issue and is working on a fix.

This also applies if you get the 'disc is dirty' or 'do you own this?' messages.

 

Try clearing your XB1's cache. It worked for me.
