Xbox One will not update.

Every time I try an update my Xbox, after the 3rd step it goes to restart and does not come back on. Then I have to unplug it to restart the Xbox and the update did not go through.

Xbox one will not update

I'm having the same issue.. Microsoft plz fix this issue. I can't even play games offline this is absolutely ridiculous.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Hi! As mentioned a
hard reset/power cycle should help in this case. If not, you should also try to perform a factory reset with keeping your games and apps (so that you don't have to install them again):

Thanks for the idea, however I tried that already and it did not work either. However I could of did it wrong but I did get the two beeps. Unfortunately it did not work, but thanks for the idea.

If the offline system update failed as well, the console will need to be sent in for service. We encourage you to visit

Device Support and see what kind of options are available for the Xbox.
