    Hi there,

    I unplugged my xbox one last night from the wall socket and now when plugging it back in, it won’t turn on. There is a faint clicking noise coming from the console when plugged in, but it does not turn on. This clicking noise will slow down and eventually
    stop once the orange light goes off on the power supply after it has been unplugged from the wall. I have tried hard reset and other methods posted here with no results.

    Does anyone have any ideas how to get my xbox working again?

    If you google this I think you will find that it is related to a hard drive fault.

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    It is coming from the console itself. It's not the normal clicking that people complain about that sounds like a fan, it's more of a clunking type noise. I was hoping it would be fixed today after leaving it unplugged all night but I turned it on and uninstalled
    COD with no problem, reinstalled it and at about 75% the Xbox shut off and when I turned it back on it froze on the green screen and began clicking again
