Xbox one will not turn on at all

Hi,

While in the middle of a game of Halo5 my Xbox turned off and since then it will not start.

Orange light on the AC Brick will not go White, infact it turns off when i try to boot.

I have 2 Xboxes and the AC Brick works fine on the other Xbox one

I have applied for an exchange but they tell me I have to pay 120€

It is suspiciose how this happend only 2 months after warranty expired.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Controller will not turn on AT ALL

If you take the batteries out and connect the controller to console via USB, do they connect properly?

Now connect a headset and try the update again.

Sadly this didn't work. I think i might just have to send it in for a replacement unfortunately.

Hey guys, just had this problem too and handled it. I've had my XB1 for 6 months and this morning it wouldn't turn on. It would light up, make that 1-up sound and turn right back off after 1-2 seconds. Here's my fix, real simple:

1) Just unplug everything from the back of the console, leave the cables in the wall, TV etc.

2) Play with kitties for a few minutes, or just wait a couple minutes.

3) Plug everything back in and turn it on.

Worked like a charm, first try, high-five.

Mine has been doing this too. I am thinking it is a software issue now, something that doesn't allow it to always turn on from such a low power state.

Of course, I'm talking out my rear, and it is probably a brick or hardware issue.

I plug the power brick into any outlet first it is orange and then when I plug it into my xbox one it turns off immediately. I received my replacement xbox and that does not work, I am having the same issue. I will now be sending in my power brick.

After the latest update I had trouble turning my console on again, even after having it repaired. It took several tries before it stayed on. This thing better not fail on me again. What keeps doing this?

Had to send the console itself in to finally fix it. Came back dirty and scratched, but it turns on now.
