    XBOX One will not recognize USB Flash Drive


    So ... I received a 100 Error code when applying an update over the Internet. Followed the instructions that lead me to perform an offline update. Got the Flash Drive, formatted NFTS, downloaded the file, extracted, put on USB Flash Drive, plugged into
    XBOX One USB port, started manual update.

    Got brief message "Something went wrong". Saw, briefly, a 101 Error Code. Xbox One restarted itself and came back up with the 100 Error Code again. Now when I try to apply an offline update it does not show the USB Flash Drive as connected (i.e., the
    offline update option is greyed out). Note that the USB Flash Drive does flash when plugged into the XBOX so it has power.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Can no longer use external storage

    In my case, the drive is recognized by PS4 just fine. But Xbox does not recognize ANY storage device - several hard drives or USB flash drive.

    Game Drive - you need to attach an xbox 360 hard drive

    Do you have any other usb storage devices plugged into your console? Because the Xbox 360 will only recognize 2 at a time. So let’s say you have two flash drives plugged in already, it wouldn’t recognize the hard drive without removing one of the flash drives
    first.

    External harddrive for media not recognised by Xbox one

    My PNY 128gb usb flash drive that was connected to my XBOX One when updated is no longer recognized by my TV's USB Media port either. It is still recognized by all my computers. This is saddening, luckily I have a 16gb Media drive that is still recognized
    by both.

    I've tried all types of formatting of the 128gb drive and nothing is working, kinda frustrating really!
