    Xbox One will not read discs 80% of the time.


    I first noticed this on launch day as it did it on the 2nd time of using it but now it's becoming more frequent. It does it with call of duty, battlefield, forza, Lego marvel and dead rising. All the discs are clean and everything is installed. Sometimes
    just removing and reinserting will fix the problem but other times it's 3 or 4 attempts. I understand this is a new console but as a customer I am not satisfied as it takes much of the enjoyment out of gaming if it takes you 10minutes to actually get a game
    to work.

    Xbox One Discs Sometimes Won't Read - Repeatable scenario!

    I'm having this problem too, but only with Xbox 360 discs, Xbox One discs are read instantly, but I have to keep ejecting the 360 discs and reinserting them about 20 times before they read, it's getting very annoying now

    I feel your pain, i bought mine around the same time and am having the same problem. I insert games from 5 up to 80 times to play my discs. The Xbox one sounds like its feasting on my discs sometimes. The circle from the discs looks like its being worn away
    each time by playing these games, why is this happening microsoft?

    This is not a common problem, and from the sounds of it you may be needing a console repair/replacement. The best course of action for you is to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. This is unfortunate, and I hope it gets resolved for you as soon as possible.

    This is not a common problem, and from the sounds of it you may be needing a console repair/replacement. The best course of action for you is to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. This is unfortunate, and I hope it gets resolved for you as soon as possible.

    Disc read error.

    Yes all other games work fine. I have one of the 60GB xbox's that they sold for a little while a few years ago. Every time I put the disc in it either says "Open Tray", "Multimedia Disc", or it just never stops reading the disc. I did get an error code a
    couple times, and I think it was something like "Error code: 03-80-00" maybe, but that hasn't happened in a while. I've tried two separate Black Ops 2 discs, which are both scratch-less, and neither would read.

    I'ts kinda of doing that 50% of the time. Hlaf the time it gives me the 03-80-00 message and the others teh "disc is unreadable" one!

    This is not a Grinding noise fix, again i am sorry i wasn't clear enough this fix is for when your Disc is not reading on the Console, the Grinding fix i can be 80% sure with you it usually has something to with your XBOX ONE not being leveled if not it's
    because your XBOX ONE just leave a disc inside of it for like 10 minutes and it should be fix btw make sure it's a disc you don't care about to be on the safe side.
