Xbox One will not play games offline

I started up the Xbox One tonight in hopes of playing something on Rare Replay. However, when I launched the game, it came up with this message:

"Connect to Xbox Live

To start this game or app, you need to be signed in to Xbox Live. Check your connection in Settings > Network > Network settings."

My Xbox One's ability to connect to the internet wirelessly has been broken for a while, although I don't want to send it in for repairs as that would take money and time that I do not want to spend. Recently, I've been hooking it up via ethernet whenever
it requires updates, but that requires a really awkward setup that I can't do right now.

This error occurs for every game I have installed on my xbox, including the Witcher 3 (which is offline). I have tried turning the Xbox off, as well as changing it to offline mode, and nothing has made a difference. It's starting to get to my nerves. What
can I do?

Countries that are not in that list can not sign into xbox live. If you have digital games that is unfortunate as you need a connection to xbox live to do that or make your console the

play them offline. You can play disc games offline though.

If those games are digital purchased games, make sure you have set your Console as your Home Console.

The games I have are all on disk, excluding the games downloaded from Rare Replay. Also, in order to set my home Xbox, I need to be connected to the internet, which (again) ism't a possibility.

 

For digital games you need to set it as Home Xbox in order to play them offline. There´s no way around that.

The disc based games should work offline without that as far as i know. Is the right Disc in the Xbox One if you try to launch a Disc based game?

Is the Console reading the Disc correctly / registering that there´s a Disc inside it?

Troubleshoot Xbox One Disc Errors

Make also sure its set to offline in the Settings and might try to set it to Power Saving mode / Instant on to see if that makes a difference.
