XBOX One will not play any games past startup screen.

I recently switched from PS4 to XB1.

I installed FIFA 15 (disc), and that game would work just fine.

I bought Assassin's Creed: Unity (disc), and the game would not get past the part where it loads the Ubisoft logo (even before the title screen) before freezing the Xbox and causing it to restart automatically. Since FIFA was working just fine, I assumed
that this problem was disc or game related, so I planned to return the game for a new copy.

Today I purchased Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (disc) and I am having virtually the same problem with this game as well. The game will load the copyright screen and the graphics screen (with NVIDIA and other logos on it) but immediately exits back to the home screen,
and everything is as I never started the game in the first place. It doesn't cause a freeze or system restart, but won't start the game either.

I've tried:

• Clearing the MAC address
• Power-cycling the system
• Deleting and re-downloading my profile
• Starting the game(s) from another profile
• Restoring the Xbox to factory settings and re-downloading/installing the games
  

Nothing seems to work. I'm still having the same problem with both games. Is there any one that can help? I'd appreciate it.

This definitely sounds like odd behaviour. How long have you had the console? If it was a short time you could try returning the console to the store for an exchange or you could see about setting up a repair of the console as it does seem as though you've
tried all the necessary steps to try and fix the issue.
