Xbox One will not launch any games

Discus and support Xbox One will not launch any games in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It will go to the title screen of whatever game I attempt to launch but it just sits there for about 5 seconds and returns to the "dashboard".     Xbox One will not launch any games


    It will go to the title screen of whatever game I attempt to launch but it just sits there for about 5 seconds and returns to the "dashboard".

    Any suggestions outside of smashing it into tiny pieces?

    Game not automatically launching when disc is inserted

    After the most recent update every time I insert a disc my xbox one doesn't automatically launch the game any more. I have to go to my games and apps and launch it manually. Is any one else having this problem? Is there a quick fix? This is not an issue
    on my other xbox one.

    1: Push the console power button for 5-10 seconds until I turns off

    2: Unplug the power cord from the console - (has to be from the console)

    3: Wait 30 seconds

    4: Plug back in and power up console with button

    Should hopefully be working okay now. If not let us know Xbox One will not launch any games :)

    Sorry to hear you are running into these problems. If the issue persists after performing a full Factory Reset then the best option would be to set up the repair for the console.

    You can always set it up through the
    Device Support     page.

    Xbox one won’t launch any games

    The error you are receiving may mean that the service that offers the game or app may be unavailable, or there may be an Xbox Live service outage.

    To try and fix this issue you will need to follow a few steps.

    The last thing that you will be able to do is a soft factory reset of the console. You will need to follow the steps below.

    1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. 6. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    7. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    8. Select the Reset this Xbox option.

    9. Select to keep save games.

    10. Run it.
