  1. Xbox one will not connect with television.

I just got a new tv yesterday and went to try my Xbox one with it this morning and no siganl is being detected. I have contacted Xbox customer support but they had no actual solution other then to unplug and restart the system. The television is a 2014 Sony
40" w600b. My 360 is working and there is no apparent problems other then no signal being detected by the television. Does anyone know of a setting or something that needs to be changed for this to work? I will be contacting Sony later but has anyone encountered
this problem and have a solution?

    :)

  2. Xbox One Frame Rate Drops and Stutters>>>>>Is it normal or possibly a faulty console or bad set up?!?!?!?

Hi. I have a Day One Edition Xbox, and any time I play graphically intensive multiplayer games, such as Call of Duty Ghosts and Titanfall, I seem to get some major Frame Rate Drops, Stuttering and Screen Tearing. However it seems to be happening to me much
more than other people I play with. My current set up is my Xbox One connects via HDMI into a surround sound receiver and then from the receiver to my television via HDMI. Because I have my Xbox One going through a receiver to my television and not directly
to the television, will this cause added frame rate issues and stuttering or could it be something wrong with my Xbox One, or are these just normal problems everyone has??????

    One S HDMI Compatibility ?

    Hi

As long as your Xbox 360 was being connected to your television by an HDMI cable then an Xbox One should also work on it. Please see the guide below as long as your television can support the then resolution then you should be able connect it to your television
    without issue.

Chances are your friends console has been locked at a resolution higher than your bedroom television is capable of displaying.

Have you tried to change your hdmi settings yet? I'd suggest to switch to "auto negotiate" in the settings. If course this only works of you can try changing the settings on a second tv or monitor.

If not possible you may try to reset the grafic settings on the One. This can be done by powering the One off and then starting it up with holding the powerbutton and the eject button simultaneously until the boot beep. This will reset the grafics to 480p.

The exact procedure and more helpful hints can be found here :

Your issue sounds very similar to my own. However, the difference being that my xbox one was/is intermittently about to communicate with TV. Randomly while playing the screen will simply go black and the TV displays message stating 'unable to detect signal'
followed by 'unsupported mode'. I've tried different TV setting, switched HDMI portals, changed out HDMI cable, hard resets and a number of other forum suggestions and have had zero success. Again, my kids can have zero issues for hours - even a day or two
and then it will happen again. Am at a total loss as to a solution and hate the idea of taking the xbox one in for service or exchange.

    Xbox One with external speakers/headphones

This may or may not be related but I just purchased an Xbox One and connected it via HDMI to the same television that I also use as my computer monitor (also connected via HDMI). The external speakers that are connected via coaxial S/PDIF to the television
will play the audio from my computer but not from the Xbox One. Currently I'm having to switch the audio on my television to the built-in speakers instead of the external whenever I'm on the Xbox One source.
