Xbox One will not connect to Wifi

Hey I just got of the phone it's happening to all preview testers running wifi it's happened with the dashboard preview update, the said there working on it. I been having the same

 

Hi everybody, same issue here.

Sometimes I can connect to network, but, when synchronizing my profile in a game the network disconnect again.

The problem is about the new update and unplugged the Kinect and external hard drive works, but isn't a fine solution.

Just disconnected my kinect and it worked.

 

Hello all.

New to posting threads. Had a 360 for years with little issue, got an XBOX One last week and problems, problems, annoying problems. It will not connect to wifi at all.

Spoke to Microsoft for hours, and my ISP, between them they have not resolved these issues.

MS told me to get ISP to open a series of new ports on the router: Did not work

Asked me to make sure the router is not filtering MAC address, done: Did not work

Asked me to have a guest network set up from router and get XBOX to connect to that: Impossible, apparently, so did not work.

I have given up for the time being and connected to router via Ethernet cable. Seriously considering ditching my allegiance to MS, take it back and get a PS4.

MS have been very little help, my ISP is scratching its head with no ideas.

Does anyone have the slightest clue as to why this is happening? There is very little meaningful support, and I get the sense that MS would rather me get a refund than fix the issue.

I have ipad, iphone, laptop and so does my wife, we have no problems with anything else. Speed test on mobile reveals 15-20mb/s download speeds over wifi.

I do not have external hard drives or Kinect connected to the system. It has been unreliable and not a good experience so far.

Any ideas? Or shall I kick this into touch?

You may please open a new thread on your issue as this here is a special problem with preview os which is totally different to your problem. So please feel encouraged to open a new post, describe your problem there and provide us with some more details like
your router and modem and what you have tried already so we may be able to give you the special tailored help you need and deserve. Thxs for your understanding.

 

Have been trying to solve this problem for the past couple of days. Just tried removing Kinect like everyone said and it works. This needs sorting ASAP

 

i have been having the same problem, it refused to accept my password for about 7 attempts, and then when it does accept it it says DHCP server issue, i follow the steps and again nothing worked for about 30 minutes, when it does eventually connect i do
a detailed network statistics test, and i get about 0.84mps DL speed. i tried to do a speed test on my laptop and im averaging 52-55mps.

i also had a word with my next door neighbour, and i connected to his router done a test on my laptop and i was at 60mps average. do the detailed network statistic test on my xbox and yes, you guessed, no more than 1.1mps.

What is the deal? my connection is that slow when i load up a game it says "syncing data for" what ever game im on, then it says "could not get your last save" try again or use the game/app offline.

its annoying, im actually questioning if its a problem with my xbox hardware.

i have tried what people have said about removing my kinect, and now it works fine, done the test again and im running 40mps+

so in theory i mayaswell just throw away my kinect cause its useless!
