Xbox One will not connect to Wifi

ok same here took Kinect out works put in it stops and no more connection take out it comes right back on

 

I had the same problem and also I can reconnect again by removing my kinect.

 

i unplugged kinect and external hard drive and it worked , its just crazy though , sort it out Microsoft i quite enjoy using my kinect thanks.

im a preview member also, i just unplugged my kinect and all is good, except no kinect need a fix xbox asap and possibly compensated, the last time something like this happened i got 2 wks free gold, a month will do nicely lol seeing as i have missed
24hrs of destiny xur will be well gone

i was also testing evolve alpha

ok spoke to support took about two and half hours did what they said worked then signed in on profile wouldn't let me sign in then lost connection again and could sign in took Kinect out again everything worked plug back in stopped working so two and half
hours wasted and still the same today

 

Can confirm that disconnecting Kinect and trying to connect again fixed this problem for me.

I have had this problem for the past 12 hours or so of my xbox one not connecting to my Wifi and I've tried every step under the sun and nothing worked, and by the looks of it, its being caused by Preview App so I would advise to uninstall that , but I finally
connected mine!! They way I did this was by unplugging the Kinect from the Xbox one, then entering my Wifi password and Boom it connected and everything's fine now, Bar my anger level for Microsoft right now.. but hey hope this works for everyone else!

 

I don't know why you are angry, you are part of the preview program which exists for the bugs to manifest themselves, then be rectified for when the actual update is made available to the public.

You are putting your console at risk by participating in this, if you don't want to contribute to the community, then simply un-enroll your machine from the preview program.

 

Uninstalling the preview app is NOT uninstalling the preview OS version! It's strongly recommended to NOT uninstall the app as this takes the opportunity to unenroll from the preview program.

You all are encountering a typical problem when taking part in a beta program.

Im having the same problem and getting rather frustrated. haven't tried the removing kinect solution yet so ill try that shortly. i too am in the preview programme i just hope its fixed by the time i can play cod tonight!!!

Hey I just got of the phone it's happening to all preview testers running wifi it's happened with the dashboard preview update, the said there working on it. I been having the same problem
