    Xbox One will not connect to TV


    After receiving an advance exchange, I still have the same problem with connection- unable to get connection to ANY TV in house with attempts at using multiple HDMI cables...any suggestions?

    Xbox One will not connect to TV

    I believe the problem is in the console hardware, but I am unable to get anyone to 1)listen to me, or 2) give me any helpful information to get the console to connect...

    Could you try the following?

    • Try connecting your Xbox One to another TV is possible.
    • Try using another HDMI to connect from the Xbox One to the TV. This may see if it's your console or the HDMI cord you're using is bad.
    • Connect the HDMI to another port of your TV (HDMI 1, HDMI 2).

    Unfortunately there is no way to connect the internal Receiver of the TV to the Xbox One for TV functions,

    The HDMI IN on the Xbox One is designed to work with Satellite or Cable TV which involves having a separate box that normally connects to the TV with an HDMI cable.

    The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.

    Are you connecting an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One to the TV?

    On some TVs, if an HDMI-connected device is causing a shrunken output, there should be a TV setting that adjusts "overscan", which adjusts the size of the output on the screen.
