XBox One will not connect to Samsung TV - No signal

I recently replaced my TV and I am having trouble connecting my XBox One to the new TV.

    The TV is a Samsung 50" 4K Ultra HD (model UN50MU6300FXZA ).

After I have plugged in the XBox One into any of the HDMI ports on the TV, when the XBox One is turn on, the TV keeps displaying a "No signal" message.

I've followed the troubleshooting steps listed in many of the related posts on this site. The HDMI ports are OK as I've plugged in other external devices into each of them and the devices are all recognized.

It seems like this issue is very common. I do not see any proven solution in any of the posts, though.

Any ideas on what can be done to resolve this issue?

    Thank you.

    :)

  2. No Signal with Samsung TVs

I’ve always been able to switch the console between my Samsung KU6300 and a smaller, older 720p Samsung TV, both using HDMI for connection.

However, starting a few weeks ago with the Xbox One S, i started receiving a “no signal” when connecting to the older Samsung TV. But it worked fine with the newer 4K Samsung TV. Then I got the Xbox One X and the same thing still occurred; only worked on
    the newer Samsung TV.

Today, however, I was trying to troubleshoot the Xbox One X to the older tv again. And after several failed attempts, I switched back to the newer Samsung TV, and started receiving the same “no signal” issue.

One weird caveat to this is my PC connects to the older Samsung via HDMI just fine.

Before you ask, it is not a bad HDMI cord.

I’m in the preview program, so whatever the latest update is there is the software I’m using.

Any tips or troubleshooting techniques is greatly appreciated.

XBOX One and Samsung Smart TV

The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.

Xbox One will not with smaller TVs (32inch and 24inch), but works with big samsung (50 inch)

Hi, the samsung TV is model P2770HD.

The xbox sends a signal and powers the tv on and off, but no video signal.

The xbox is working and the ports on the tv are working (i tried direct tv devices and all the porta are working fine.

The HDMI cable also worked with xbox ONEand another, new TV (samsung smart tv).

    It is an Xbox One.

    No Signal with Samsung TVs

    Hi Clemson Brownie

Sorry you're having issues with your video. First make sure you're plugged directly into the TV with the HDMI cable that came with your Xbox.

After that try the following steps.

[*]Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
[*]Turn your console back on by pressing the Xboxbutton on the console or the Xbox button on your Xbox One wireless controller.
[*]If you're still having issues try these steps to reset your display settings.

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until
      the second beep occurs.
Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to System > Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.
    4. If you are required to complete these steps on every boot-up, you will want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 in the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more information, see How
to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One console

Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver after Feb. 2014 update

Mia, this is a different issue than the tv not powering on. This is some sort of software issue that is causing the Kinect not to send a power IR signal to Samsung soundbars specifically. Recalibration will not work because Kinect is simply not sending a
    signal to these Samsung soundbars.

Samsung ru7100 tv does not recognize Xbox one Fat signal

I had already done this test and it didn't work out either. When I contacted the Samsung attendant, she told me that this tv is incompatible with the original Xbox one, but I think she's wrong, because on the nu7100 model my Xbox works normally. I think it
is some configuration or update of the tv software that is preventing signal on Xbox, would not have Microsoft contact Samsung to solve this problem?
I find that hard to believe that the Xbox One is not compatible, its a TV that is supposed to connect to stuff for content. I think the Samsung person is wrong too.

I would say whatever issue you are having is screen related. You said you have a One S, try the HDMI cable from that. Also make sure you are putting it into HDMI port 1.

Are you using any av receivers or any device that is used To pass through the signal to the tv? ( like a hub or av receiver)

Also, in your screen menu, see if there is an option to turn off HDR.
