    Xbox One will not accept wireless home network even tho my wireless network works just fine


    Hi I'm having continuous issues with my Xbox One I managed to get the internet working on it last year but now it doesn't work and I factory restored the system and tried reinstalling it it still will not connect even tho my wireless internet works.
    Is anyone else having this problem? And why is this happening? Before ya ask I did try the supports techniques nothing worked nothing at all and wired connection isn't an option I'm really angry this is like the 5th day in a row I haven't been able to get
    my 400$ console to work on the internet. And I want to play Forza Horizon 2.

    Missing wifi adpater cd

    Just throwing this out there, I got the MN-740 to work on a Xbox 360 without a disk, I just hooked it up and connected to my Wifi network. The wireless network has to be a WEP network tho, the old wireless adapter doesn't support anything above WEP.

    Can't find wireless network

    Strange thing seems to have happened to my Xbox. Had it since launch but seemingly now it can't find my (or any other wireless) networks. When I go to 'Set up wireless network' it can't find any.

    It's worked fine since launch and worked fine yesterday. My phone is connect to the wifi so it's not the Virgin internet connection. Any ideas?

    Going to try a wired connection to see if that works.

    Thanks for the help beerich. I went to Walmart and bought the Datel Xbox 360 Wireless N Network Adapter and it connects to my Wireless N network just fine.

    I'll be returning the broken one. Thanks again.

    Being Kicked off of Xbox live

    We had a wireless G router network before this.

    The router is strictly 5ghz

    The router is in the kitchen and the Xbox is in the main family room. Approximately 30ft separate them with zero walls between.

    It's just interesting that the older Xbox with the wireless adapter works just fine, but the newer xbox with the built in wireless antenna does not work very well at all. Even plugging in the wireless adapter from the older xbox into the new one does not
    help.
