y first thing I see on what's supposed to be a blank bar/page. Why?

YouTube on xbox one keyboard problem

my keyboard works with my xbox one on YouTube but only one problem i have found with it is you still have to use the xbox one controller to click y (search) as the keyboard wont open search bar when you click y?

Keyboard is broke

I have been trying to message people and the keyboard that pops up on screen is more broke than a McDonald's icecream machine. I type one letter and the keyboard puts the cursor over the first suggested word that appears just below the box where your message
is being typed and the thing is when ever I move the cursor it snaps right back to the first suggested word meaning I can't type nothing.

Had this problem with error code 8015403A -- chatted with various Microsoft people. No help. Discovered on my own that my problem was caused by the fact that Microsoft was placing a capital letter at the beginning of my logon ID (email address) even though
I was typing a small letter. Once I found one that, I corrected it by placing my cursor at the beginning of the line I had just typed - deleting the first letter - and replacing it with a small letter. Then it worked.

Well I rebooted the xbox, kept my finger on the on/off button on the xbox to do this, and everything seems to be working fine with the videos now. the only issue I have now is with EDGE app. I'll do a search on bing or will click on a link and it sends me
to a previous page or Facebook. That or when I'm typing it will some time take the first letter I type in a word and that letter becomes the last letter, so word becomes ordw. This usaully happens with the first word I type so I have to go back and fix it.

I would love to see a chat pad for the XB1 controller and I do think they'll do one however first they need to fix the slight delay when hitting the backspace, space, or moving the cursor around when you're typing a message, try hitting "X" for backspace
and then quickly typing a letter, the backspace won't register till after the new letter does, happens the same with "Y" for space and the bumpers for moving the cursor.

The Xbox Adaptive controller will only press the letters 'A', 'B', 'X' and 'Y' as they are the Xbox controller letters.

I am not aware of any way to remap the letters so that they are 'S', 'Z', 'D' and 'Q'. Keeping in mind that they are the Nintendo Switch buttons.

I will try to do my best to explain the lettered buttons.

They are not like the letters on the keyboard, they are just labelled with those letters as way of us humans easily understanding which button relates to which in game action. they are simply a form of input for the game console.

Also in all the pictures I have looked at of the Switch it shows that the lettered buttons are A, B, X and Y the same as the Xbox controller.
