    Xbox one WiFi speeds

I'm having a lot of issues with my Xbox ones WiFi speeds. I run a test on my phone via the speed test app and my WiFi speed is around 60mb but my Xbox one when running the detailed network stats it shows as 9mb and highest it has ever been is 15mb, I have
tired wired but was getting a moderate nat type so switched to wireless and got an open nat type.

I am using a BT hut 5 and all other devices on the network are getting the same results as my phone.

    :)

  2. Maximum download and upload speed capable on xbox one?

Does anyone know the maximum download speed the wifi adapter on the xbox one is capable of?

    Also the upload speed?

My download speed that i pay for is 150mbps it is the maximum on virgin media, my xbox says it is only getting 66mbps so is the xbox one wifi adapter responsible for this?

problems connecting to xbox live for the past several days

I've added a wifi booster in the problem room. Even with 100% wifi signal, the download speed was terrible (0.01 mbps). I've connected the xbox one to the wifi repeater via an ethernet cable and the problems seem to have cleared (download speed of 13.9
mbps). Has the wifi card in the xbox started to go bad?

    Xbox one WiFi speeds

You are better off with a Wired Broadband Connection than using Wifi for your XBox Gaming.

WiFi is very fast. Almost as fast as wired broadband but not quite and that's why it's not as good.

You should try going back to a Wired connection and then try and get support from people here or Support (at the top of this page) for openning your ports so you can play online.

Support can give you the right advice but they may take you through a long troubleshooting guide before you get to where you need to be. If you're on BT Hut 5, I'm sure there's someone on these boards with a similar set up who can get you working correctly
    like they already are.

Try using an Ethernet cable for your Xbox one to receive optimal download speeds.

Connect the Ethernet cable to your Xbox from the router as the primary source. You will see a difference in download speed versus wifi cache.

    2 XBOXs different speeds?

Hello so newer console is always going to work faster than an older one. Plus if your running them at the same time on wifi one will always be a little slower. Cant run the same speeds at the same time. The more you have running on wifi the speeds will
    slow.

Slow download speeds on Xbox One X

I take it you're WiFi on both your PC and XB1X and you used a diagnostic speed test site. Biggest problem is with majority of these tools, is the fact they are server side and test speeds to your gateway/router/modem and not your home WiFi network. Theoretical
speeds are exactly that, actual WiFi speeds tend to be lower. The reality is, you could be getting 120mbps into your home but WiFi is putting out 60mps.
