    I was trying to play on my xbox one but an update occurred and I went to update it however it kept loading for 5 mins and then a network error occurred. The same kept happening. I use a wireless wifi connection. I tried to update my xbox with mobile data through hotspot and then the percentage bar went up. Please help me

    I've added a wifi booster in the problem room. Even with 100% wifi signal, the download speed was terrible (0.01 mbps). I've connected the xbox one to the wifi repeater via an ethernet cable and the problems seem to have cleared (download speed of 13.9
    mbps). Has the wifi card in the xbox started to go bad?

    Thanks for the clarification ACN0LOG1A.

    It's likely that your network hardware may not support multiple consoles connected at once. Have you made sure to enable UPNP within your network's settings? Also, when you get a chance please share the make and model of the network hardware you use.

    The issue you that you're describing sounds like an issue with your wireless router. Do you have any other Xbox consoles in your home that are also connecting?
