Xbox One WiFi Not getting full strength

Hi, I was wondering if you have tried hard resetting your console you can do this by holding the Xbox power button for 8 seconds or until it turns of then unplugging it and waiting around a minute or two where you can then plug it in and turn it back on.

No good. Still struggling to find the IP or DHCP. Most of the time recently I can't even get it to sign my profile in.

I feel like it's being targeted by their wifi somehow. The Playstation works fine and gets 3mbps at least. the mobile hotspot works fine on the Xbox despite being 2g **** and being useless.

So weird.

Change the wifi channel.

This happened to me a couple of years ago.

Streaming media was impossible and download speed slow even though I had full signal strength.

Went into the router settings and changed the wifi channel.

Problem was immedietely fixed.

Turned out that my xbox didn't like wifi channel 1 because when I changed it to channel 11 everything worked fine.

So go into your router settings and find the wifi channel. The primary channels to try are 1, 6 and 11. If that fails try channels inbetween.

Could also be the strength of the wifi signal, are you close the router?

This is a big deal if you want to get the achievement for bringing the guild back to full strength.
