ALLNET ALL0333CJ Rev.C - DSL modem. But like I've mentioned, I have tested it with a completely different modem/router with the same results.

Just wanted to clear things up, regarding your "modem" being, a modem, and not a combination of modem/router/Nat.
it seems to only be affecting one of my games (Gears of War 3). Which is a 360 game running on backwards compatibility.
So your sitaution is basically isolated to one game, and one game only, Gears of War 3 (backwards compatible).

I would say you are far from the only one who seems to experience low framerate, or input delay on this game. The GoW forums seems to be fairly populated with users being in the same situation as you.

If there's anything in regard to your Xbox Ones connection that you need more help with, please ask away.

Yes, isolated to one game so far.

My situation is different than others. I do experience frame rate drops during high intensity scenes. But that is not what this is. This is a different problem. If you take a look at the link up above, that video clip shows what i'm talking about. It is
reminiscent of playing an online game with a poor internet service and constantly "teleporting" or skipping a lot.

And again, If I connect the xbox directly to the router with an ethernet cord, I don't experience these problems. Thats why it is such a headscratcher because I have nearly eliminated everything in my power; tried two separate xbox's, two different routers,
5ghz and 2.4ghz, tried DMZ, port forwarding, etc. My 360 playing the game over wifi plays perfectly.

At this point, I am willing to accept that this game just doesn't play nice on the Xbox One when using a wireless connection. Unless someone can come up with another thing to try.

5. This is completely unrelated to the original question, but I myself am having trouble connecting to Xbox live.

Its quite strange, really. My Xbox can find my wireless network just fine, I can access my friends list and see what their up to, running the network test instantly succeeds and says that there are no problems, my NAT type is open, etc. There is just one
problem though, my Xbox just won't connect to Xbox Live.

If there is any information that I am missing, which there undoubtedly is, I apologize, for my understanding of computer technology is limited.

If you have some basic knowledge of QoS (Quality of Service), you might benefit from this option, and to have your console's network traffic prioritized instead of being scattered along with any application that may use IP.

I can have every other device disconnected from the network so that only the Xbox is on, and it makes no difference. AND I can turn on my 360 and pop in the same game (gears of war 3) and it'll play just fine using wireless connection. In fact, I can't even
notice a difference between playing the game wired on the Xbox One and playing wireless on the 360.

Ok, so even with an uncongested network, you are still experience the same problem, as with congested.

I'm not sure how granular the traffic control mechanism on your router is, but even on an uncongested network, QoS still provide a means for differentiating traffic types.

Do you own any other title on your Xbox 360 that is backward compatible, which you could try run on your Xbox One, to see if this behaviour can be replicated? Or if it's possible, try connect
your Xbox One at a friends house and have us know the outcome.

I know from a year ago when Destiny Crucible had problems, which would conflict with the Xbox Ones wireless network adapter.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to test it at a friends house, as I just moved recently and don't have any friends nearby. I'll see what other games I have that I could test out.

That's interesting to hear about the Destiny game having a similar issue. Do you have any links? I'm wondering if a solution was ever discovered because I'm almost convinced this game (Gears of War 3) is somehow conflicting with the wireless on the Xbox
One.

Would be good if you're able to find another b.c. game to try on your One.

If you google Destiny Crucible Xbox One wireless you will more than likely ran it to them.

They've patched the game since.

Keep us posted.

Thanks, I looked it up. Similar in that in only affects the wireless of the Xbox, but not quite the same problem.

At this point I don't know what else to do unfortunately since I have tried 2 separate Xbox's. Tried going to the Gears of War forums and asked if anyone else had the same problem but only 1 person has replied, and the said they don't experience the same
thing.

I have "temporarily" solved the problem by plugging in a range extender next to the Xbox. The range extender is connected wirelessly to my main router, and the Xbox is connected to the range extender with an ethernet cable. So the connection is still wireless,
but the Xbox thinks it is wired. Obviously you would think by using a range extender my connection would be worse, but it solves the problem for now.

Well, an extender is worse, but what counts in this matter is your experience.

Even though you're wired into the extender, the communication between the router and the extender is still 802.11 frames. So this could well be an issue related to coverage of your WLAN.

Instead of an wireless extender, have you considered a Powerline adapter?

What do you mean it could be an issue related to coverage of my WLAN? The router is in the room adjacent to the room with the Xbox with a 98% signal strength. But I've also tried it with the router in the same room with no improvement.

I'm using the extender currently only because it was something I already owned and had laying around the house. Which is why I'm probably not gonna purchase a power line kit. I don't feel like spending even more money to make this Xbox work correctly.
