Xbox One Wifi Hardware problem with Instant On

The problem has not occurred until I did the Instant On feature in order to download games, in the background, when the xbox is turned "off."

After a couple of hours with the xbox turned "off" I would turn the xbox on and see that the xbox is not connected to any network and that it cannot see any networks at all. I click "test connection" and the xbox tells me that there is a hardware problem
and to reset to troubleshoot. I click "okay" and then I can connect to the internet.

The issue only seems to happen with the Instant On feature, I am able to connect to the internet seamlessly and not have encountered internet problems with the xbox on, unless my internet ceases to function or does not want to cooperate.

What is a recommended option for me to do?

EDIT:

I have tried the Instant On feature in the past and I haven't encountered any problems until now.

Network adaptor not working when "instant-on" power mode enabled upon boot.

Xbox wifi will not see any ssid nor connect to the wifi upon instant on boot. Will not work again until fully restarted. Problem goes away when I enable power save mode.

Anyone else have this issue or should I RMA?

Note: this is directly console related and has nothing to do with any of my network hardware, as xb1 does not see any said at all, not even neighbors.

Will any hardware problem the best solution for longer life of the console is to request a repair if it can't be fixed you'll be sent a new console for free or at no extra charge if your console it out of warranty >>>

the serial number of the console what can be found on the stick on the bottom of the console,

If you can't compete the repair request then contact the phone team to compete it for you >>>

Do you know any sort of price that could be attached to this repair and if maybe it would be worth it to just buy a newer xbox?

That appears to be a hardware issue and the console will need to be repaired. Since it isn't under warranty anymore I'll suggest you take it to a local departmental store so their repair department can fix it for you and you can take it home the same day.

Do you see a difference when directly connected via ethernet VS Wifi?

Could try clearing the Mac address on the console as well as testing with Instant on turned off, I've noticed improvements on occasion toggling this off/on

The issue seems to be at the OS level. My old Xbox One has been working fine for quite a long time until an software update a few months ago. After that, with instant on enables Xbox randomly losses ability to see any WiFi networks (sometimes there is a
period of a graduate decay of functionality, when after wake it's able to find WiFi connection after a couple minutes pause, but eventually it goes into complete loss of WiFi connectivity and inability to see any WiFi networks around).

At first I suspected my old Xbox hardware, but recently I got a new Xbox One X and after a couple of weeks it got exactly in the same state as the old one.

So, all indicators are pointing towards a bug in Xbox OS (Win 10 presumably).

A workaround that seem to help in my case is a cold boot (unplugging Xbox power cord).

Yup - exactly same issue. Glad to know that it’s not just me and this is a bug in the software. I guess the only solution for now is turning instant-on off.
