Xbox one went run 360 games online

I have had this problem for quite a while now, basically any time I load up a 360 game on my xbox one while it is connected to the internet the game just freezes on the 360 launch screen and wont log me in. The only way I can get it to work is if I go
into settings and go offline. Has anyone else had this problem or know of any fixes?

And all my 360 games run great online its just my xbox one.

 

XBOX backwards compatibility

So I was just wondering, say if I owned a backwards compatible Xbox 360 game, if I went on multiplayer for that game on the Xbox One, would I be able to play online with people who own the game for Xbox One? Or can I still only play online with others who
own the game on 360?

Try the following:

Go to the console settings, and under storage, clear the local Xbox 360 storage.

This will only delete your local copy of the cloud information, so your savegames and profile will still be safe on the cloud.

Then launch a Xbox 360 game, and press the Menu and View buttons to bring up the Xbox 360 guide.

Use the download profile option, and provide your account's email and password to download your Gamertag to the emulated Xbox 360 again.

If you use Two Step Verification, make sure you use an App Password instead of your regular password. You can

So yeah, I just wanted to add that if the previous troubleshooting steps did not help you finally get into the game, you might want to try what we call a soft reset of your console.

It's a way for you to reset your console and clear out most software issues without uninstalling anything.

Just make sure to have all the sign-in info for any/all accounts that you have and that you have easy internet access so that it goes smoothly beforehand. Once you have that, then try the steps here on
