Xbox one was supposed to be having the 4k ability but instead you came out with a new one ...

Standard Xbox One's and Xbox S models will be able to play along side the Scropio, why wouldn't they? The Scropio will be able to play all the Xbox One back catalogue. They're not going to be making Scorpio only games. The same way that he PS4 will play
happily with the Pro version.

 

I wouldn't rule out Scorpio only games waste of all that power otherwise. I was aware One games would play on the system and there will be both console games. Hadn't thought of the social,aspects though.

 

I know Microsoft have said Scorpio will get VR exclusives but I now believe it will have its own exclusives ( non VR ) in the future despite what they claim now.

Some developers already said with the power of Scorpio they will be able to do games that they couldn't before. Unless XB1 would get a real toned down version of the same game.

With the talk of games appearing/playing on all, wouldn't that cause hassle for the developers? Just say Turn 10 do Forza 7, in Scorpio native 4K but because it would be toned down for XB1 wouldn't that mean more development time, more hassle?

Like said here they release a machine this powerful and only release the same games looking slightly better seems a bit of a waste but we will see.

 

It makes no sense to release such a powerful machine and then muzzle the potential of the games that could be developed for it.......

 

You only have to read the posts on here alone to see it's taken a lot by surprise just how quick we are seeing new/upgraded consoles.

So no way are any company going to say, "well here's our new one so if you want the best you will need to buy".... Instead we got the ..."No one gets left behind"... Any company will try and keep all happy.

Scorpio specs have already gone out to developers so they can start planning future projects. In the last month a top guy from Bethesda said on Twitter ( can't remember exact words ) ... "There's ideas I've had for years, with Scorpio it can happen"...

That one comment alone says whatever this idea is can't be done on today's XB1 unless it got a real toned down version, would people be happy with that? Would developers even bother? Surely it would be too much hassle?

I'm sure XB1 has plenty of life left in it but Scorpios specs just blow it out of water so all Scorpio will get is better looking versions of XB1 games? I don't believe that for a second.

 

Going to stress again, I have zero interest in VR.

Got to try a VR set this week my local store, 5 minutes and I honestly thought I would need a bucket :-/

 

OK for one thing I'm not crying about it I'm just saying. I mean don't get me wrong I do love my Xbox there's no doubt there. But I do have a 4k large screen TV it's 60 or 62 inch something like that and my Xbox is not running at 60fps more around 24fps
maybe a little higher sometimes and that's partially the problem but I was under the impression that when they said 4k ability they meant it would run at full speed. Also I worked at an electronics store back in 2011 I sold a bunch of 4k TVs so I think they
was out there enough to make the Xbox one reach full speeds when released. They knew the 4k was the next big thing coming up as they got cheaper not to mention 4k cameras where already around before 2010 and in 2010 YouTube started streaming their videos in
4k. Also it wasn't just that bothering me it was also the size of the hard drive 500GB wasn't even a good starting point when most games are around 50GB not including extra map packs and stuff. Just didn't seem sufficient enough for the console not to mention
the download time for the games. And no, no one is twisting my arm to buy a new one and no one twisted my arm to buy the first one I got but you can't tell me that the Xbox one shouldn't of at least had a bigger hard drive and be able to run 4k at a higher
speed. Also you can't tell me they didn't do it this way because of the extra $ just like they did with the 360. Me myself I get comfortable with a system and how it's set up and I don't wanna change it every 3 years or whatever especially when it's just a
couple of kinda minor upgrades except the hard drive I really didn't understand why it was so small that ones the biggest deal for me anyways I don't wanna spend another $300 or more for a new system just for them. Yes I am cheap and I'll be the first to
admit it because I'd rather spend money on guns then game systems but u have to understand I started on Atari back in the day and systems didn't get pushed out that fast back then. They made the system the best they could then didn't release a new one until
they could upgrade pretty much everything so every aspect was better than the last. I know most of you younger generation people aren't that smart but trust me it's about the money. Also I was more wanting someone from Microsoft to read this than get a bunch
of opinions that I care less about but wasn't sure how to get it directly to them so I just posted on here hoping they read it. But seriously people if u don't agree I can care less that's how I feel about it and your opinions aren't going to change that.

what a bunch of bad info,lol. 1st of all 4k upscaled is not fuzzy. i have a 65ks8500 and ever single game on the xbox including halo original looks amazing. fh3 is fantastic and cant wait to play gow4 tonight. as for hdmi 2.0 only for 10 bit thats hogwash.
12 bit goes thru 1.4 on dv. xbox1 s upscales everything to 4k and looks amazing. just because your poor and cant afford a 4k tv thats fine but dont make up lies off what it is.
