    XBOX One was sent back after repairs and is having different issues!


    I sent and email back to Arya a day or so ago but never heard back from her. Below is the email and issue.

    Hello Arya,
    We received our Xbox. It will now turn on but is having a couple different issues. Sometimes when we turn on the console our controllers will not connect. We have to turn the console off and on and then they will connect.

    The biggest issue though is once we start playing a game the screen goes in and out and gets lines across it. It does that for a couple minutes and then the Xbox freezes.
    We are not very happy about this. We have had this Xbox one for only two months before it broke on us. We finally get it back and it is still not working. So now we are going to have to send it in For repairs again.
    There should be some kind of compensation for having to deal with this.
    We really want this fixed!

    I am having the same issues. I sent mine back to xbox at the begginning of april, and i am sending it back again today for repairs if it happens again how do i request a new one?

    Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

    I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

    OK...... The quote comes in the email with the shipping label and is not news to me. It states "IF NO service is performed" which did not pertain to my issue. It also states they DO in fact "(REPAIR or Exchange)" the Xbox units sent in.

    As I already stated, they repaired my original Xbox Series X the first time it was sent in. I am not the only one that has had an Xbox repaired before an exchange took place.

    If they did a factory restore and sent it back to me because nothing was wrong my content/data would have been wiped. My controller and headset would not have still been synced due to the factory restore. They would not have included in the box a statement of it being repaired or the tests performed after the repair with checkmarks. As I already stated, it was replaced with a different Xbox the second time. Your posts are not helpful to the OP.

    Controller disconnects even when attached with USB.

    I have the same issue. Both wired and wireless controller disconnects with a 1TB XBOX one, started when the console was 2 1/2 months old. Sent it in for repair, came back with same issue. I have tried multiple new controllers, 5 different USB cables,
    etc. Its a fundamental issue with some XBOX ones is my opinion. Perhaps the wireless logic is hanging off the USB internally, and the issue is not with the wireless or the usb cables or the controller, but with the USB hub inside the xbox one (on the motherboard).
    Dunno. I like the original poster tried everything. Going to use the advanced repair next. After that? PS4, no sh*t. Controller issues are infuriating.

    It was over 30 days so Argos insist you contact Microsoft before they will do anything.

    Took it into Argos tonight who offered to replace it, they even upgraded it to a 1tb Console as none of the 500gb bundles were available or not suitable fora 12 year-old girl.

    It Might be an idea if the tamper label wasn't stuck on the front of the console if that is the sole arbiter of if it's opened or not.

    I am utterly disgusted with Microsoft Customer Service and if I had a choice would have got a PS4 from Argos instead but it's not my choice.
