Xbox One warranty seal

Hey guys so I need to send in my Xbox One in for a replacement because it keeps frying my my kinect (just fried the 2nd one). Anyways while I was inspecting the console I noticed the warranty seal is slanted and isn't properly fitted into the designated
slot.

I'm of afraid of sending it in and they accuse me of tampering with the console and charge me $500 or whatever it is.

Warranty Seal

as soon as the warranty seal is broken your warranty on the xbox is lost and Microsoft will no longer repair it for free

Hi,

I'm writting here because I want to know if I can send my XBOX one to be repaired by Microsoft althought the warranty seal has been torn. I tried to open my xboxone to check it inside, because when I'm playing, the image freezes during 4 or 5 seconds,
and it happens continually.

My question is , ¿have i lost my warranty because the warranty seal is torn? ¿cant it be repaired with no cost?

That means your xbox was opened before, it you can see the stars it's out of warranty. Also, for the xbox one the cost of a reparation of the console(replace) is now 75% the cost of a new one, better buy another one.

ohh okay, well it is up to date. But, is the warranty seal the silver sticker(it kinda looks like a sticker) that has microsoft on it in black? ..or is it the little one beside where it has "microsoft" on the harddrive that if you tilt the harddrive one
way it says "microsoft" and the other way all you see on it is "xbox 360" ..or are neither of these the warranty seal? and okay i'll go do that

It's really not hard to get new seals, heck you could buy new warranty stickers for the Xbox 360 on eBay at one point. So I'm sorry to say that just because the seal is in place, doesn't mean it is the one that was originally there.
