  1. Xbox one warranty not correct

It seems my warranty for my xbox is not correct when I registred my xbox' serial nuber. It says my xbox is the

"Xbox One HDD Console Only" version when it came bundled with a controller and a headset! My mic just broke and my controller has issues regarding the left stick not working properly. My xbox one even says that it's bundled with a controller and a mic.
I tried to check the warranty for the mic but there was none and my controlers id number has been almost schratched away so I just see a few numbers. Any help is appreciated.

    :)

Or is it? One section of the support website says a hard drive is classed as an accessory which carries a 90 day warranty. However I then find this.

    -

    support.xbox.com/.../warranty-faq

    -

What is the warranty period for Xbox 360 consoles and accessories?

    The warranties are:

    Xbox 360 console: One year

Original Xbox 360 console with three flashing red lights or error E74: Three years from the console purchase date (not applicable to the Xbox 360 S console)

    Kinect sensor: One year

    Accessories: One year

    -

    So now which is correct?

$115 for repairs? Please think of Customer Loyalty.

To my knowledge, only the repair. Warranty would not be extended.

Maybe someone from Xbox can correct me?

Has your warranty for the Xbox One expired yet? I believe (by default) your console gets 1 year of warranty, and the accessories (like your mic and controller) only get 90 days. Input devices generally have a shorter warranty period because they're more
prone to breaking than the console itself.

You should be able to replace an accessory through your registered Xbox One. Start here (and go to "schedule a repair"):
    account.microsoft.com/devices

There's likely going to be a cost for replacement accessories, so expect that. Especially expect full retail price.

If you're within the warranty period, you might have some hope. If it's expired, there's not much you can do short of purchasing a replacement.

Warranty on xbox S not correct

Hi Darren! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox warranty adjustment request. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

In order to update your warranty, you will need to provide a valid sales/purchase receipt from an authorized retailer. If your retailer isn’t on this list, don’t worry, you can send it to Xbox Support anyway and they will validate it if it meets the following criteria.

A valid sales/purchase receipt will clearly indicate the retailer name, the purchase date, and the item purchased as shown in the example below (in English only). If the sales/purchase receipt does not clearly indicate these requirements, it will not be accepted.

When you have your proof of purchase ready, contact support to update your warranty.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours to update after it's been completed.

Try to contact them either through live chat or call back support. Here's how:

    Chat Support:

    1. Visit the Xbox Support website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us/

    2. Click on the "Contact Us" button in the right of the screen.
    3. Select the issue you need help with and click on the "Next" option.

    4. Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    5. Follow the prompts to connect to a live chat agent.

    For Callback Support:

    Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see more options then Subscription changes
Step 3----- Select Show Contact options
Step 4 ----Select Request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives a request for a call from support as a contact option.

If you're unable to contact them, try again at a later time.

Technical Supportend wrong or purchase date wrong

There's only a one year warranty that comes with the xbox.

You'll need to contact Xbox Support and provide them a copy of your receipt/proof of purchase and they can have someone adjust that 1 year warranty end date to match the correct date for your 1 year warranty.

If you bought an extended warranty then that would be handled separately by the company you purchased that additional warranty through.
