Xbox One w/Kinect Persistent click/clunk noise

Hello all. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I purchased the refurbished Xbox One with Kinect bundle (including Dance Central, Ryse, Forza 5, and a game of my choice) from the Microsoft Store. The system arrived on December 1 and installed without issue. This
morning however, upon powering up the console, a constant, persistent mechanical click/tick noise began. The noise was constant and unchanged whether playing a game or sitting idle at the home screen. Powering down the console, the time interval between click/tick
increased and ultimately stopped when the console was fully powered down. To me this sounds like a defective fan or failed bearings in a fan. Are there any options other than returning the console to Microsoft. Any tips or help is appreciated.

On a tangent, I do personally find this type of defect completely unacceptable, especially considering this unit was a certified refurbished console. One would think a certified refurbished console would leave Microsoft in perfect working order and not fail
within 13 days of shipment. Even more frustrating is the idea of returning the console, being without the console for at least a week, perhaps longer, then receiving a new console only to have to endure the time involved in re-downloading the 3 digital games
and their cumulative 100+ gigabyte footprint.

It is very telling to me that in my 19 year history with Sony, I have never had to return the PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, or PS Vita systems that I purchased from them, yet I have had to return three Xbox 360s and now one Xbox One. Very disappointing Microsoft.

Disc drive noise/clunk question on new console with energy saving mode on

Hi guys, just picked up a new console to replace my old one, so far everything seems perfect. Quick question though, perhaps due to my paranoia:

If you watch this video (disregard the point of the video its simply the only video I found with the noise I am describing haha) , on around 1:59-2:00, immedietly after inserting the disc and the drive closing, you hear a single
read clunk, and then the disc spins and works as normal.

This single clunk only happens on the very first disc insert after a cold boot, since i have mine set to energy saving, i hear it everytime i forst insert a game after turning on the system. Any discs inserted after dont really make this sound.

My first Xbox had drive issues, so my paranoia about any clunks is kinda high. This drive works perfectly, apart from that first disc insert clunk from cold boot.

What do you guys think this initial clunk is? Just the disc drive mechanism?

Thanks for any help! Again, it's the clunk immedietly at 2:00, prior to the drive spin.
