    Hello all,

    Is it possible to use a HDMI splitter to connect my DirecTv cable box directly to my TV and also to my Xbox One? I would like to be able to use the snap feature and watch tv while I have a game on, but I don't want to have to use my Xbox just for tv all
    the time. It would be nice to be able to just use the cable box directly to the tv when that's all I want to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Does Xbox One use RGB Color Space for all output?

    I noticed BD movies play back in RGB color space as does output from my cable box (even when cable box is outputting YCbCr). The dashboard and games are RGB too. I don't see any option under settings for YCbCr output, only options like TV vs. PC levels
    and 720p vs. 1080p. Does this mean the Xbox One is an RGB only device in terms of its output?

    Astro A50 Xbox One set up

    Just a quick question. I've decided I'm going to buy some A50's for my Xbox One. Other than the Xbox One headset adapter to enable voice chat, do I need to buy anything else seperately, e.g. an optical cable or usb cable, or will everything be in the box?

    360 to cable box to xone

    The only problem is that Tiamat89's
    screenshot     (hyperlinked now) shows it is not using an HDMI cable. If you are trying to run the 360 to the One using the component cables you would need a Component/HDMI adapter. My question to you though is if you are running your 360 into your cable box,
    are you just using a switch to flip between inputs (360 or Cable)? If this is the case, then you should be able to take your cable box out video/audio and feed it in to your Xbox One. While you are on the Xbox One you would just use the TV app and then use
    the switch to alternate between the Xbox 360 and Cable. If this doesn't answer your question can you give clarification on the following:

    - What cable is running from your 360 output to your cable box input?

    - What cable is running from your cable box output to your Xbox One input?

    - If the 360 is running into the cable box, how do you alternate the TV display?

    As of now, the Xbox One has to be powered on for the video from the HDMI input to be visible. In a powered off state (even when configured for Instant-on) the video from the HDMI input is not passed through to the output.

    do what feels right you can directly plug in your cable box to the X1 and have it work did it last night. as for the other things have it go to another HDMI port. also the X1 does support audio receivers when you setup the TV functions just go thorough it
    and see what works best
