    Can I limit the volume on a headset that is connected to the Xbox One, and put a pass-code or other "protection" to prevent the child from turning up the volume? The headsets to not have the feature so I am hoping the Xbox console can do it.

    Why doesn't the Windows Volume Mixer have a separate volume control for the XBOX One App?

    I can control volumes for other apps. It would be nice to lower the XBOX App volume or even Mute it independently.

    Just got the new xbox one controller from UPS today with 3.5mm jack

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, there is no setting on the console to "limit" how high/low the headset volume can be adjusted. You may want to submit this as an idea on our
    Xbox ideas webpage. From here, your idea can be voted upon. Microsoft has implemented ideas from this page before in past updates.

    If you are using a receiver it is probably a setting in there. Not much you can do from the Xbox itself.

    Volume controls are normally based on your tv they do have setting to fade volume for snapped apps though
