XBOX One voice control in NZ

Any idea when we can expect XBOX One voice control in NZ? I am not after an exact date necessarily but it would be nice to know we are still on the to-do list.

It feels like we are missing out on half of the features that differentiate it from the competition. I expected the TV stuff to lag behind for us but not the voice too. Maybe we will hear something at E3?

XBOX ONE - TV IN NEW ZEALAND

Am I right in thinking that in NZ there is now way of setting up to control TV and AV?

We also have no voice control at all. I may have been living in NZ for a long time but I still have a solid UK accent. Why can't I select a dialect my self? Or why cant MS let us NZ'ers use UK voice until you roll out an NZ specific update?

why do we have a forum

I still check in from time to time, but with the limited number of Xbox One titles out coupled with the lack of interest from Microsoft to enable our NZ region voice control I'm spending more time working in the garage than I am holding a controller..

Hi - I have mine set to 'Australia' in the region section - and the all of the voice commands work fine for me except 'Xbox On' (which hasn't been added to Australia yet) - I don't even have to add a Aussie twang to it haha......when I try to buy something
off Xbox live though I did have to fudge it and input a Aussie address (but still used the same credit card details as I have on my 360) and it worked for me - apart from that I can't see any obvious difference between having it set to 'Australia' or NZ' regions......not
ideal I know but at least i get to use the voice commands

The majority of Australian and NZ players speak English well, but voice control won't be available here. Are they boycotting Australia and NZ? Tomorrow is the start of September a lot can happen between now and when they release the console in November.
At least Australia and NZ are still pushing for a November release date.

Hey Monster, do you have a link to that?

All I've seen on this Forum is that Voice Control will only be available at launch, for like 5 countries, because Australian and NZ accents are hard to translate for voice recognition. Many US pp I've played with say I have a British accent which is what
many NZ/Aussie pp get referred to as having.
