    Hi all,

    Just bought an Xbox and downloading a massive update.

    Strugglinf to figure out the best to way to connect all the above devices.

    I have a series 4 samsung TV with two HDMI ports, a samsung hw-450 soundbar, a Virgin Media TIVo box and the Xbox.

    Can anyone recommend a config that would be easiest? I currently have audio from the virgin but xbox picture??

    I have an optical cable too, before the Xbox I had HDMI out of the Tivo into soundbar, then out of soundbar into TV.

    i have an optical cable but just not using it. Cant work out the best and simplest configuration??

    Wouldn't you be better to run the audio from your Xbox too, if you're running the Virgin box through it? That way the soundbar will pick up the signal whether you're watching TV or playing games.

    I think you have to connect the hdmi directly to your Tv from your Xbox.

    Blank screen ...starting to get annoyed!!

    I forgot to detail,,

    Virgin media TiVo INTO the xbox

    Xbox OUTPUTS to samsung (hdmi 1)

    AppleTV OUTPUTS to samsung (hdmi 2)

    Noticed blank screen when returning to hdmi 1 and expecting to see the last

    App still running (TV app)

    Iif the tv app is left running it will happily do so all day, so long as I don't switch my tv's inputs.
