    Xbox one Video PlayTo Playback issues


    Hello,

    I have this problem where any video I stream with Play To, the video will play but won't repeat nor does it continue the list of videos I have selected.

    It'll just play once, and then all I see is a black screen, I'd have to manually hit "next" or double click the video to play again.

    Not sure what happened, It used to work just fine, I tried everything, I called Microsoft and Xbox several times and none of them even knew what "Play To" even was.

    I'm using Windows 7 if that means anything.

    OneDrive/SkyDrive App Choppy Video Playback

    Video playback on the Xbox 360 has been choppy, particularly using the OneDrive/SkyDrive app. Has anybody else seen this performance issue? I can stream the same video file on a Surface RT without any issues, but on the Xbox 360 it's been a very poor experience.
    How can I troubleshoot video playback issues on the Xbox?

    What PDA do you have? It needs to be a DLNA-supported device to stream audio or video. You can find more details here:

    Play to feature in Xbox video app stops working after around 30 minutes

    Having the same issue here. This is very frustrating. Video play back from my windows 8 laptop to my xbox 360 works fine for about 30 to 40 minuets then the stream to the xbox is interrupted and playback resumes on the laptop. When attempting to resume
    "playto" the xbox is no longer listed in the available device list. Sometimes toggling wifi hardware on the laptop off then on refreshes the list of "playto" devices and sometimes it does not.

    Asus q400a Lap top i7 8 gigs ram (set to never sleep)

    Xbox 360

    Netgear n600 dualband wireless router.

    If you've got a pc connected to the same network as your Xone then you can use the PlayTo function to stream video to your xbox, just launch xbox video on your xbox then go to your pc and right click the video file and there should be a option to PlayTo,
    click that and choose the xbox, it should then start playing on your tv through the xbox. This is what I do at the moment.

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    As part of bringing the Groove Universal Windows app to Xbox, we lost a few features like Music Videos and DLNA PlayTo and added a few like background audio, Your Groove, and Explore.

    We know how loved DLNA PlayTo and Music Videos are and are working to bring them back soon.
